My cat gave birth to five kittens this morning! I woke up at 630am to tiny meowing and 3 were already born right next to me in bed! Good thing I had a blanket laid there on her spot!
I once had a foster who I just absolutely adored. She came to us very pregnant and her & I instantly became best friends. She was also very young, only 6 months, and seemed kind of confused about the whole process. When she started having contractions, we were told to just leave her be, but make sure the kittens were breathing and not getting trampled. She ended up storming out of the room to come find me, climbed up my back and around my shoulders, and she gave birth to all 9 kittens in my lap (in a box with proper bedding and such). That’s the kinda stuff that changes your life (for the better)!!
